AKWAABA: THE HERITAGE ASSOCIATES INC. is a non-profit with living history presenters who are Rochester residents who are accomplished educators, social workers, and healthcare professionals. Many have extended their love of history by researching their families’ genealogies and teaching the skill to others.

No matter their background, every member of our team is a professional storyteller and first-person enactor, passionate about history and involved in numerous community organizations.
